Things don't look good.
Sooty has a seizure at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and slept in my pillow in between times. Bridget of Pets are Talking says Sooty said "tell my mom I'll be with her. I'll be laying on the scraps (showing me fabric?)." Now, I don't know how true all this is but Bridget has been very nice.
We have made the decision to take her to the vet to see what he says. It may be time to let her go - no more pain or suffering. We will see.

howlo.
we're wonderin' whether Sooty's recent episodes were neurological seizures or fits of sneezin' due to an upper respiratory bug.
re. the question "when is the prawper time to let go":
the pain & sufferin' of a loved one is not somethin' that a veterinarian necessarily perceives better than a devoted animal guardian. i would woof that we companion animals always tell our devoted human guardians when we're ready to die.
pawleeze believe that, if you care deeply and listen closely, you will hear us tell you when we're done with our paw-work on this planet.
until that moment comes, no human can really say "when."
